My Roomate's Dream:

My roomate is in Oaxaca, her friend, we'll call him Quaker Oats (QO), is with her. She's showing him around. Wait are they in Mexico or Seattle? A Student Marching band drives by. "I know this town well," My Roomate thinks proudly. "But where is my host mother? Where does my friend Peaches and Swiss Cream live?"

My roomate is relieved to find her friend, we'll call him Blueberry Propaganda's dad. He has reinvented himself as a new resource student.

Its time to leave Oaxaca. My roomate wants to leave her stuffed animals and bible behind. College is awaiting. There is a ladder in the corner. Afraid. Sad.
